Baie Black, Quebec


Put in at the end of the dyke at Lac des Chats Ted loads up Ted heads out into the lake above the dam Ted gets ready for lunch at the 'nice spot' on the map

1. Put in at the end of the dyke at Lac des Chats, east of the Morris Island Conservation Area.
2. Ted loads up.

6. Canoe Route: Ted & Steve put in at the clearing at the end of the dyke at 10am. We followed the red route westward along the south shore, then crossed over to Baie Black. Had lunch at "Nice spot" on the map, then continued to the portage over the RR tracks, then back across the Ottawa R and under the trestle, where we retraced our route back to the takeout.

Total trip time = 4 hrs

Canoe Route: Steve, Lisa, Bill, and Judy put in at the Morris Island Conservation Area at 10am. We crossed over to Baie Black.
