This was a quiet flatwater trip up the Petite Nation to the falls, and back. We saw lots of wildlife including muskrat, ducks, a hawk, and lots of evidence of beaver. The falls were spectacular, and there is a picnic area at the falls that is accessible by road. It is also the take-out for WW trips originating upriver. The falls are not run often, but I have heard that Paul Mason (among others) has done it!
